An evening of music and community at Rotary Park!
The Charms are Husband & Wife duo, Denis & Meg Dufresne, Based in Calgary. The 2 are celebrated and award winning vocalists and Instrumentalists both playing violin, mandolin and guitar. Together, they cover a wide range of popular music in the Instrumental style of Bridgerton while also covering an extensive amount of Canadiana Vocals. Both have toured the world separately and together playing command performances for His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, the Saudi Royal Family, the Prince of Monaco, the Duke and Duchess Will and Kate and several Canadian Prime Ministers. Megan is Western Canada’s Premier Bollywood Violinist and Denis is the current CCMA “Fiddle Player of the Year.”
Opener: Marshall Dylan Band – A father daughter duo, Jason Cleland and Grace Vandermolen, bring beautiful harmonies and an engaging acoustic sound featuring guitar and mandolin. Their diverse repertoire spans generations, with songs ranging from Bob Dylan classics to modern favorites, creating a performance that audiences of all ages can enjoy.
As always, this event is free to attend, with several food trucks on site and Fisher Peak Brewing Company serving beverages. Please bring your good attitudes and love for music down to Rotary Park this summer!
