DESCRIPTION:This afternoon weaves together mantra\, meditation\, and movement while exploring areas of life that call for more compassion. \n\n\n\nThis movement meditation is rooted in the Buddhist practice of 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮̄𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶̄𝘀—the embodiment of compassion and virtue—which provide a clear map for navigating and transcending the 6 realms of daily existence. The 6 realms are not literal places: they are mental-emotional states that all humans experience\, every day. Using ancient wisdom tools\, you will gain capacity to experience each realm with awareness and freedom. \n\n\n\nExpect a spacious and supportive environment with guided movement\, accessible teaching\, expressive music\, and shared growth. No dance or meditation experience is required—all you need is a willingness to move\, feel\, and explore your inner landscape. \n\n\n\nMoving through each realm\, you will be guided to contact a difficult state—such as anger or jealously—creating space to fully allow it in the body without pushing it away or making it ‘wrong’. Then\, drawing on the meditation tools shared in the workshop\, you will dance each state into something beautiful—such as generosity or wisdom. Dancing by yourself and with others to support a deep embodiment of this shift. \n\n\n\nWorkshop participants can join the morning Cacao & Community ecstatic dance (10:30am – 12:15pm) for a discount; see ticket options.
